SACRAMENTO, CA, June 1, 2021 /vWire/ — As Sacramento is growing in popularity as the Farm to Fork Capital, so are demands for a healthier eating lifestyle. Plant-based food is the fastest growing trend in the food industry that is now causing major food chains to stock alternative meats, milks, cheese, breads, and everything imaginable but made from non-animal products such as grains, nuts, soy, fruits, vegetables and all types of herbs and spices. The Sacramento Vegan Food Festival is created to cater to this fast-growing population, as well as for those curious or seeking healthier food alternatives. This annual festival is a one of a kind and not just to Sacramento, but to all of Northern California. It is part of the history being made that is sweeping this nation. This event is sure to become Sacramento’s favorite and most popular food festival with the potential to attract all of Northern California’s population seeking healthier food alternatives.

The best part about this event is that this healthy food trend crosses all cultural barriers. All races and ethnicities are seeking to find alternatives to animal products. The Sacramento Vegan Food Festival is sure to gather people from all walks of life and join all cultures together to satisfy their hunger for better and healthier food options.

The festival promises to be a mouthwatering experience with the variety of food options that will be available including some oil free options. Vendors representing foods from various parts of the world will be featuring tasty American, Mexican, Italian, Vietnamese, African, Indian, Peruvian, Mediterranean, Brazilian, Argentinian, Jamaican, and Thai food to name just a few. Yes, that translates to foods like Hamburgers, Hot Dogs, Tacos, Pizza’s, Pupusas, Crispy Avocado Asparagus, Masala, Tortas/Sandwiches, Ceviche, Pozole, Empanadas, Burrito’s, Philly Cheesesteak and so much more.

To wash down all the delish food, the bar area will feature refreshing variety of Beers, Kombucha, Margarita’s, Aguas Frescas, Wine, water and other healthy drink options.

The Main Stage will feature the Best Pat Benatar Tribute Band “INVINCIBLE”, The popular DINORAH and her Band, and the high energy group ADAM ALDAMA BAND. Also featuring cultural dancers “Mistura Braziliera” Dancers and Drummers; also the “Kapulli Itzkuauhti” Aztec Dance and Drum Group.

Our second stage will feature Special Guest Speakers Don Forrester MD, (Family Medicine physician with over 40 years of clinical experience) doing a Question and Answer session about any subject related to Health and a Plant-Based diet, “Coach” Ruben Guzman MPH, LMP (Lifestyle Medicine Professional), and Linda Middlesworth, (Nutritionist, Cooking Instructor, Areobic Instructor, Owner of VeganMentor and Co-Owner of and Joanna Beach (Founder and CEO of ViaVision Wellness, Health & Wellness Coach).

You will also find many Arts, Crafts and informational booths scattered throughout the event and some delicious food and drink samples. Lots of fun for everyone!

The event is Free Admission for children 12 and under.
